Hélder Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Valadares in the 7th minute of the match. Hélder Ferreira made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Jonas Pirani sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Pirani got free with Hélder Ferreira in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hélder Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Renato Leme, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Germano Garcia's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hélder Ferreira firmly grabbed it by the left post. André Luís Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Bastos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Luís Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilmar Xavier in the 20th minute of play. If Gilmar Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Samuel Cearense fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VSKG C.E.E.J's protests and gave Samuel Cearense a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes VSKG C.E.E.J got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Cearense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of VSKG C.E.E.J:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AFC Dachshund:s goal. André Luís Medeiros went to the wrong direction when Gilmar Xavier was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Germano Garcia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VSKG C.E.E.J's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC Dachshund the free kick. Germano Garcia hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Gilmar Xavier struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. André Luís Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Dachshund. André Luís Medeiros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilmar Xavier went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 41st minute, Gilmar Xavier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th minute, Gilmar Xavier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC Dachshund fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelo Bastos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Gilmar Xavier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André Luís Medeiros was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in VSKG C.E.E.J's zone, Gilmar Xavier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Luís Medeiros came out of the goal and Gilmar Xavier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilmar Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luís Medeiros having to interfere. After a rather tough play, VSKG C.E.E.J's Júlio Maranhense got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Gilmar Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Gilmar Xavier fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of André Luís Medeiros, passed just outside the right post. 71 minutes into the match, VSKG C.E.E.J's goal looked a bit too open when Edinho Pinheiro came free, but André Luís Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hélder Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Pirani in the 72nd minute of play. Gilmar Xavier struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. André Luís Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Dachshund. After a rather tough play, VSKG C.E.E.J's Durval Chaves got a free kick in the 76th minute. When Marcelo Bastos came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the AFC Dachshund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Bastos couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Renato Leme in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hélder Ferreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Marcelo Bastos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Luís Medeiros was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 89th minute, César Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind VSKG C.E.E.J's goalkeeper André Luís Medeiros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 94 minutes into the game, AFC Dachshund's Gilmar Xavier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. André Luís Medeiros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5.
