Júnior Baiano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Aírton Prata was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Platon Losada showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 34 minute of play. After 40 minutes, Benjamin Porto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inter Florida E.C and the Baracaja FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Inter Florida E.C's zone, Basílio Penha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aírton Prata came out of the goal and Basílio Penha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonardo Quintal made a kick off. Gert Vennerkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Aírton Prata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 54 minutes, Platon Losada made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side.
