Eurico Sena started the match with the kick off. Dorival Maciel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eurico Sena in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Massape EC's goalkeeper Dorival Maciel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eurico Sena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Galo Cego FC's zone, João Simões stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandrinho Paiva came out of the goal and João Simões tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eurico Sena's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Dorival Maciel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Galo Cego FC's Eurico Sena got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Massape EC's goalkeeper Dorival Maciel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute Gino Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandrinho Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Felipe Motta fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galo Cego FC's protests and gave Felipe Motta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st minute, Felipe Motta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Eurico Sena fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dorival Maciel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eurico Sena in the 43rd minute. In the 48th minute of the match, Eurico Sena got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dorival Maciel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Eurico Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amauri Chaves took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dorival Maciel. Dorival Maciel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The supporters of Galo Cego FC booed when Massape EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Luís Novaes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dorival Maciel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eurico Sena in the 63rd minute of the match. Cristian Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Galo Cego FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after João Simões fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 2-1 became the score in the 75th minute when Eurico Sena elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Dorival Maciel didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Galo Cego FC's Amauri Chaves shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 84th minute, Amauri Chaves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico Sena in the 86th minute of play forced Massape EC's goalkeeper Dorival Maciel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Diniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Dorival Maciel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute Eurico Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorival Maciel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Massape EC's goal looked a bit too open when Eurico Sena came free, but Dorival Maciel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Eurico Sena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galo Cego FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Galo Cego FC fully deserved thier win.
