But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matías Domingues couldn't finish the play. Dean Cartwright received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Osmar de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Durval Baiano hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Pedrinho Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Renato Arruda in the 13th minute of play. Dean Cartwright recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute, Paulo Renato Arruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Renato Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Dean Cartwright managed to get in a good position for a shot. RIBEIRO 27's supporters rose to their feet, but Dean Cartwright was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osmar de Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, RIBEIRO 27's Durval Baiano got a free kick in the 27th minute. If Haniel Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Dean Cartwright got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Dean Cartwright cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Osmar de Lara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paulo Renato Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho Ribeiro having to interfere. Osmar de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haniel Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute Haniel Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osmar de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. fc barcelona's Osmar de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dean Cartwright in the 46th minute of play. Osmar de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dean Cartwright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half RIBEIRO 27 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Renato Arruda to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the fc barcelona defense, Haniel Andrade kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osmar de Lara. The fc barcelona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osmar de Lara should have stopped the shot. Dean Cartwright fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osmar de Lara having to interfere. RIBEIRO 27's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
