Richard Reis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolas Botelho to make the kick off. A collision led to Placa getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Dalmo Sousa hit a great ball. Nicolas Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 71 minutes into the game, when Noel Linhares put in a rough tackle. Nuno Simão might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giovani Meira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nuno Simão ran back to his position shaking his head. Maurício Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Richard Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th play minute Túlio Prestes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Richard Reis. 0-7. Túlio Prestes took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Reis. Richard Reis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. When the match was over Placa could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Caraubas SS throughout the match.
