In the last second Marcos Tasso throw himself and got hold of the ball when Renatinho Hoffmann in the 37thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Erasmo Goiano sped through Supernova AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcos Tasso. Marcos Tasso made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Renatinho Hoffmann sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erasmo Goiano was the one to do the kick off. Renatinho Hoffmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Tasso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Renatinho Hoffmann ran back to his position shaking his head. After 58 minutes, Célio Dionísio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arabela AD and the Supernova AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Célio Dionísio hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 2-1 became the score in the 60th minute when Olívio de Carvalho elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Erasmo Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Tasso having to interfere. Marcos Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renatinho Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Erasmo Goiano came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Arabela AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Goiano couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the match, Supernova AD's goal looked a bit too open when Renatinho Hoffmann came free, but Marcos Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erasmo Goiano succeeded in the game's 76th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. Olívio de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Supernova AD's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Goiano came free, but Marcos Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Renatinho Hoffmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arabela AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Renatinho Hoffmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Tasso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Supernova AD's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
