Spectators: 7295 (Terracing: 5473, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Charles Marquez took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mattinha's zone, Rafael Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Freire came out of the goal and Rafael Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gabriel Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Marquez in the 5th minute of the match. After having played for 15 minutes, Rafael Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ATOS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Valle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mattinha's Gabriel Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Marquez in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Jorge Breckenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Igor Nunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José de Moraes in the 30th minute of play. José de Moraes shot a long shot in the 30th minute and a light blocked Gabriel Freire hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-1. Igor Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Cruz having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in ATOS FC's zone, Gabriel Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles Cruz came out of the goal and Gabriel Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Igor Nunes came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Mattinha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Nunes couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd match minute, ATOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Marquez to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute of the match, Oséas Braga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Charles Cruz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Charles Marquez came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the ATOS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles Marquez couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Nunes to make the kick off. José de Moraes charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José de Moraes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, ATOS FC's José de Moraes got a free kick in the 54th minute. If Cláudio Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Gabriel Freire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Charles Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olívio Trevisan's late challenge caught a Mattinha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olívio Trevisan helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Mattinha a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cláudio Arantes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ATOS FC's Charles Cruz. 2-1. Vágner Koehler hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. ATOS FC's Otávio Massa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mattinha. Rafael Valle's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gabriel Freire firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Marquez in the 81st minute of play forced Mattinha's goalkeeper Gabriel Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Oséas Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Igor Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mattinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Nunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charles Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonardo Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mattinha fully deserved thier win.
