Carlton Blends's Silvinho Baiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Carlton Blends from getting a goal against them. Silvinho Baiano didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 7th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Igor Baiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Silvinho Baiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Carlton Blends got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Cerezo. In the 12th minute, Luiz Eduardo de Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silvinho Baiano made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Perivaldo Barreto sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the game, Igor Baiano lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Silvinho Baiano. Silvinho Baiano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Eduardo de Alcântara went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Carlton Blends's zone, Perivaldo Barreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvinho Baiano came out of the goal and Perivaldo Barreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Igor Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Carlton Blends's Silvinho Baiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Carlton Blends from getting a goal against them. Andrézinho Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manoel Guedes in the 34th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Carlton Blends's zone, Rafa Tinoco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvinho Baiano came out of the goal and Rafa Tinoco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Limoeiro Do Norte booed when Carlton Blends was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arthur Cerezo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Limoeiro Do Norte were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Carlton Blends's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Igor Baiano took the corner. Rafa Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvinho Baiano having to interfere. In the 44th minute of the match, Luiz Eduardo de Alcântara tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Silvinho Baiano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Arthur Cerezo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 45 minutes had been played. In the 46th match minute, Carlton Blends was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Cerezo to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute of the match Limoeiro Do Norte got a corner. Carlton Blends's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Igor Baiano ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Limoeiro Do Norte's corner Igor Baiano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Silvinho Baiano quite easily take care of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafa Tinoco during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 played minutes, Carlton Blends's Enrique Alves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andrézinho Mendonça came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carlton Blends reached it. Luiz Eduardo de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th match minute, Carlton Blends was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur da Mata to maneuver through the defense. If Igor Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafa Tinoco in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvinho Baiano saved Carlton Blends from getting behind. 64 minutes into the game, Manoel Guedes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Andrézinho Mendonça was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Carlton Blends getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Thomás Miranda hit a great ball. When Limoeiro Do Norte's Igor Baiano in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carlton Blends's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Manoel Guedes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Limoeiro Do Norte's Igor Baiano got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Limoeiro Do Norte booed when Carlton Blends was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arthur da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Eduardo de Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Silvinho Baiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limoeiro Do Norte. Limoeiro Do Norte's Osvaldo Antunes was substituted for Rafa Tróia. 86 minutes into the match, Carlton Blends's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa Tinoco came free, but Silvinho Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Igor Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Limoeiro Do Norte's Rafa Tinoco got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arthur da Mata kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The corner ended in Igor Baiano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Carlton Blends's Silvinho Baiano did a great save. Igor Baiano's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Silvinho Baiano - 4-1 was put on the score board in the 98th minute. When the referee ended the match the Limoeiro Do Norte players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
