Mathias Zanette placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The crowd rose to their feet as Chuta Bunda de Vaca F. C.'s Cesinha Marquez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Doni Prestes. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. 17 minutes into the match, Alexsandro Gonçalves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doni Prestes. CEI Rocha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexsandro Gonçalves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Alexsandro Gonçalves came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Doni Prestes could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino do Vale in the 26th minute of play forced Chuta Bunda de Vaca F. C.'s goalkeeper Duarte Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cesinha Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, CEI Rocha's Allan de Barros got a free kick in the 36th minute. A collision led to CEI Rocha getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Severino do Vale hit a great ball. Doni Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 minutes, Allan de Barros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CEI Rocha and the Chuta Bunda de Vaca F. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Doni Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Gerber in the 54th minute of the match. A collision led to CEI Rocha getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Aloísio Vaz hit a great ball. Vinícius Tróia hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After 63 played minutes Chuta Bunda de Vaca F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Romero. Doni Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorival Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71stth minute of the game Severino do Vale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chuta Bunda de Vaca F. C.'s Duarte Veiga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severino do Vale in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duarte Veiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute, Severino do Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 79 played minutes Chuta Bunda de Vaca F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Garcia. Chuta Bunda de Vaca F. C.'s Duarte Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino do Vale in the 80th minute of play. Duarte Veiga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Allan de Barros in the 83rd minute. CEI Rocha's Severino do Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Severino do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. CEI Rocha's supporters rose to their feet, but Severino do Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duarte Veiga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chuta Bunda de Vaca F. C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while CEI Rocha had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
