Ziguifrid Metal Time's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caveira the free kick. In the 3rd match minute, Ziguifrid Metal Time was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willian Messias to maneuver through the defense. Hugo de Castro hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Ziguifrid Metal Time's Kaká Leão couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Caveira. In the 14th match minute, Caveira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Trigo to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Caveira's Joélson de Andrade seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Joélson de Andrade the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Caveira protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Joélson de Andrade had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 20th minute, Joélson de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tadeu de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Adilson Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Maurinho Marquez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adilson Campidelis. Maurinho Marquez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Tadeu de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adilson Campidelis having to interfere. Ziguifrid Metal Time's Maurinho Marquez got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandre Paulista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silas de Godoi went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Caveira's Adilson Campidelis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Caveira from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When Maurinho Marquez came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Ziguifrid Metal Time fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurinho Marquez couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurinho Marquez in the 54th minute of play forced Caveira's goalkeeper Adilson Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurinho Marquez struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Adilson Campidelis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ziguifrid Metal Time. Abel Loyola's late challenge caught a Caveira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Loyola helped the player get up and apologised. Abel Loyola hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Silas de Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Alexandre Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Paulista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silas de Godoi in the 70th minute. Silas de Godoi struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Alexandre Paulista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caveira. Tadeu de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Adilson Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 83 played minutes Caveira got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luiz Mattos. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tadeu de Amorim in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adilson Campidelis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adilson Campidelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurinho Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gino Secco charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gino Secco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th minute, Gino Secco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caveira's Serginho Almeida couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 97th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ziguifrid Metal Time. Ziguifrid Metal Time were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
