Spectators: 6881 (Terracing: 5431, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 50) Cleiton Antunes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ismael Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Ferraz in the 5th minute of play. Benedito Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Régis do Vale having to interfere. Cleiton Antunes succeeded in the game's 9th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Ismael Romero came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Pirapitinguy's Júlio Ferraz. But to his dismay, Júlio Ferraz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 19th minute, Cleiton Antunes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael Romero was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Gabriel Pitta's late challenge caught a Pirapitinguy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Pitta helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Gabriel Pitta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. S.E. Caeté's Ismael Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natã Motta in the 25th minute of play. When Paulão Vieira fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.E. Caeté's protests and gave Paulão Vieira a yellow card for diving instead. Ismael Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glauco Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natã Motta in the 32nd minute of play forced S.E. Caeté's goalkeeper Ismael Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 minutes of play, Pirapitinguy's Júlio Ferraz made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ismael Romero was left in no man's land by his defense there! During the 37th minute of the match Gabriel Pitta completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gabriel Pitta a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 38 played minutes S.E. Caeté got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Pitta. Ismael Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleiton Antunes in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, S.E. Caeté's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Netto came free, but Ismael Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júlio Ferraz charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Júlio Ferraz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pirapitinguy getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Júlio Ferraz hit a great ball. Régis do Vale had great luck who in the 44thth minute grab hold of the ball when Evandro Maia from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Evandro Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Régis do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evandro Maia made a kick off. Evandro Maia took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Régis do Vale. Régis do Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. 63 minutes into the match, S.E. Caeté's goalkeeper Ismael Romero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristiano Netto. Simão Baiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Ismael Romero made a huge save. Cléber Tepedino was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 67 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in S.E. Caeté fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! S.E. Caeté:s Ismael Romero showed great skill when he stopped Glauco Lima:s penalty. In the 70th match minute, S.E. Caeté was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rony Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. Glauco Lima took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ismael Romero. S.E. Caeté's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Evandro Maia made a precise shot to the right of Régis do Vale. Pirapitinguy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleiton Antunes in the 81st minute of play forced S.E. Caeté's goalkeeper Ismael Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evandro Maia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for S.E. Caeté! Régis do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evandro Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Pirapitinguy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
