Spectators: 6962 (Terracing: 5412, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Olavo Antunes kicked off to start the match. Carlinhos Siqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Lino Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lino Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlinhos Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 7 played minutes Hoggenheim got a freekick which was hit by Falcão Faria. Dé Barreto hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Olavo Antunes succeeded in the game's 15th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Carlinhos Siqueira took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lino Saldanha. Lino Saldanha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After having played for 34 minutes, Dário Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fumaquim FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dário Vinhas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute Dário Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lino Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dário Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Fumaquim FC's goalkeeper Dorival Ramalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonel Vale. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Carlinhos Siqueira made the kick off in the second half. Leonel Vale took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dorival Ramalho. Dorival Ramalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Olavo Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorival Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Vale in the 66th minute of play. Dorival Ramalho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonel Vale's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Dário Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fumaquim FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dário Vinhas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Saldanha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lino Saldanha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dário Vinhas in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute of the match, Carlinhos Siqueira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lino Saldanha saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fumaquim FC's Dorival Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olavo Antunes in the 87th minute of play. Leonel Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorival Ramalho having to interfere. After 91 minutes, Leonel Vale made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Fumaquim FC's Dorival Ramalho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 95 minutes into the match, Hoggenheim's goalkeeper Lino Saldanha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dário Vinhas. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fumaquim FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hoggenheim.
