Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Caetano Braga took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Cristóvão Paraíba sped through Cosmo EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Josué Lira. Josué Lira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodriguinho Maranhense's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Josué Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodriguinho Maranhense in the 10th minute of the match. Josué Lira came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Corei522GH's Cristóvão Paraíba. But to his dismay, Cristóvão Paraíba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Cléber Matos's late challenge caught a Corei522GH's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cléber Matos helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cosmo EC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! Reginaldo Marinho walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Cristóvão Paraíba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Josué Lira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Rodriguinho Maranhense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corei522GH's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodriguinho Maranhense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josué Lira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Armando de Toledo fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cosmo EC's protests and gave Armando de Toledo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th match minute, Cosmo EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. Rodriguinho Maranhense took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Josué Lira. Josué Lira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Josué Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodriguinho Maranhense, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Cristóvão Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristóvão Paraíba might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Josué Lira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristóvão Paraíba ran back to his position shaking his head. If Caetano Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caetano Braga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edvaldo Xavier's late challenge caught a Corei522GH's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edvaldo Xavier helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, Edvaldo Xavier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Mauro Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Elivélton Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corei522GH's Elivélton Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Garcia in the 56th minute of play. Cristóvão Paraíba struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Josué Lira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corei522GH. Armando de Toledo was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. If Afonsinho de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Alfredinho Travassos made a precise shot to the right of Josué Lira. Cosmo EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 76 minutes into the match, Cosmo EC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Paraíba came free, but Josué Lira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the game, Corei522GH's Cristóvão Paraíba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Josué Lira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Afonsinho de Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Elivélton Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosmo EC's Mauro Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mauro Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elivélton Paiva having to interfere. Afonsinho de Lara missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 91 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Elivélton Paiva right hand side. Cristóvão Paraíba struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Josué Lira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corei522GH. Although Cosmo EC had been in control for most of the match, Corei522GH still came away with the win.
