In the 13thth minute of the game Dida Mendes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Morellato FC's Percy Hermes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavinho Moreira during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Morellato FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavinho Moreira to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Dida Mendes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dida Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, PQL F.C.'s Dida Mendes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Breno Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Pedro Furtado took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Maria Eger. José Maria Eger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Breno Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. João Carlos Tavares who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Percy Hermes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dida Mendes was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Dida Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percy Hermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 54 minutes, Breno Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morellato FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Breno Antunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Breno Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Eger having to interfere. José Maria Eger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Breno Antunes went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 68 minutes into the match, Breno Antunes notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of PQL F.C.'s José Maria Eger. José Maria Eger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Breno Antunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but José Maria Eger made a huge save. José Maria Eger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Breno Antunes in the 74th minute. PQL F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Zé Pedro Furtado scored to the left of an out of position José Maria Eger, making the score, 1-4. José Maria Eger made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Breno Antunes sent off a good shot on target. Percy Hermes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dida Mendes's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Morellato FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
