In the 42nd minute, Rubens Berger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeca Souto was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luiz Gustavo de Senna made a kick off. Rubens Berger struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Zeca Souto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ghost EC. Zeca Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Gustavo de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the game, Luiz Gustavo de Senna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Zeca Souto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rubens Berger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute.
