When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Waldemar Batista took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Oswaldo Castro to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to A.E. Promoon getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Umberto Pontes hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Patrick Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.E. Promoon's goalkeeper Ahmed Amri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldemar Batista got free with Oswaldo Castro in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Silvinho Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kalore's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvinho Alagoano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmed Amri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Ahmed Amri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvinho Alagoano in the 33rd minute of play. Ahmed Amri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aírton Moreira went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 44th match minute, Kalore was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Vides to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Loyola might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oswaldo Castro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Loyola ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Silvinho Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kalore's Leonardo Vides shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 69th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ahmed Amri but with some difficulty. Ahmed Amri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aírton Moreira in the 72nd minute. Waldemar Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Castro having to interfere. When the match had been going on for 81 minutes, Kalore's Luiz Fábio Cabral got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ahmed Amri. A.E. Promoon's Ahmed Amri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save A.E. Promoon from getting a goal against them. After 96 played minutes Silvinho Alagoano rounded A.E. Promoon's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kalore walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
