Spectators: 6946 (Terracing: 5441, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 5) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hugo Tavares took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pardiuva's zone, Célio Paraibano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Nascimento came out of the goal and Célio Paraibano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Tavares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eriberto Nascimento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Jaime Netto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eriberto Nascimento. Pardiuva's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Betão Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Campidelis in the 12th minute of play. When Nuno Matorin fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pardiuva's protests and gave Nuno Matorin a yellow card for diving instead. With an all-out effort, Jota P Assis's Eriberto Nascimento threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Célio Paraibano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 21 minutes into the match, Célio Paraibano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eriberto Nascimento. Pardiuva's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Célio Paraibano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Betão Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo dos Santos in the 24th minute of the match. Thiago Vides recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Pardiuva getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Nuno Matorin hit a great ball. In the 30th minute Hugo Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pardiuva's Gerson Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerson Lopes in the 35th minute of play forced Jota P Assis's goalkeeper Betão Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Pardiuva getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Edmundo Velloso hit a great ball. In the 37th minute of the match Hugo Tavares shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eriberto Nascimento showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thiago Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Nascimento having to interfere. Eriberto Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Célio Paraibano in the 44th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Jota P Assis defense, Guilherme Campidelis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Betão Mendonça. The Jota P Assis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Betão Mendonça should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricardo dos Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. Thiago Vides might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eriberto Nascimento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thiago Vides ran back to his position shaking his head. When Ricardo dos Santos came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Pardiuva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo dos Santos couldn't finish the play. If Matheus Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guilherme Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Betão Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerson Lopes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Betão Mendonça when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jota P Assis's Betão Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo dos Santos in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Jota P Assis's Hugo Tavares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eriberto Nascimento made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. If Hugo Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Gerson Lopes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Betão Mendonça made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacinto Azevedo in the 81st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Tavares in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eriberto Nascimento saved Pardiuva from getting behind. Gerson Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Betão Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Hugo Tavares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eriberto Nascimento was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. In the 96th minute of the match Jaime Netto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eriberto Nascimento showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
