After 2 played minutes Detronados got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Romero. In the 4th minute, Tiaguinho Cardozo made a precise shot to the right of Mateus Moraes. Detronados's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to Heavy Metal getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Marcelinho de Godoi hit a great ball. Detronados's Roger Luz got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Otávio Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percival Lopez in the 18th minute of the match. Otávio Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Percival Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelinho de Godoi during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 37 minutes, Percival Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Detronados's supporters crossed their fingers, but Percival Lopez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Percival Lopez came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Otávio Berger could save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Cipriano Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Detronados's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Fantini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otávio Berger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Egídio Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Berger having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiaguinho Cardozo was the one to do the kick off. Cipriano Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Berger having to interfere. If Percival Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sérgio Romero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Otávio Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percival Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Otávio Berger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sérgio Romero went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Cipriano Fantini blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Otávio Berger having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Heavy Metal's Joélson Mesquita got a free kick in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Detronados's goalkeeper Mateus Moraes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olívio de Lara. Otávio Berger came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Detronados's Percival Lopez. But to his dismay, Percival Lopez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 77 minutes into the match, Heavy Metal's goal looked a bit too open when Percival Lopez came free, but Otávio Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sérgio Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Otávio Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Otávio Berger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cipriano Fantini's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Percival Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cipriano Fantini took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Otávio Berger. Otávio Berger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. A collision led to Detronados getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Egídio Guimarães hit a great ball. In the 91st minute of the match Dráusio Toledo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mateus Moraes skillfully saved the ball. Otávio Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Fantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Roger Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Detronados's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otávio Berger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Detronados fully deserved thier win.
