Spectators: 7212 (Terracing: 5410, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luís Guilherme Vinhas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Claretiana's Ulisses Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Guilherme Vinhas in the 3rd minute of play. Jerônimo Sousa hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Carlos Ferraz in the 5th minute of play forced Claretiana's goalkeeper Ulisses Sanches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Antônio Carlos Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kazimcapetas FC's Renatinho da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edinho Antunes in the 9th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Augusto Rosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claretiana's Jânio Zonta couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kazimcapetas FC. Jerônimo Sousa hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Doni Barros was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Luís Guilherme Vinhas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulisses Sanches read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Augusto Rosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ulisses Sanches. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augusto Rosa ran back to his position shaking his head. Ismael Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the game, Hamílton Salles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Claretiana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kazimcapetas FC the free kick. Hamílton Salles hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Ulisses Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Carlos Ferraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Kazimcapetas FC's zone, Edinho Antunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renatinho da Cunha came out of the goal and Edinho Antunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edinho Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claretiana's Ismael Prata got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edinho Antunes in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renatinho da Cunha saved Kazimcapetas FC from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edinho Antunes was the one to do the kick off. Edinho Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd minute, André Luiz Linares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edinho Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edinho Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Claretiana's Ismael Prata sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renatinho da Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ismael Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Renatinho da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kazimcapetas FC's Ronaldão Dionísio got a free kick in the 67th minute. Ismael Prata struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Renatinho da Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Claretiana. In the 78th minute, Kazimcapetas FC's Doni Barros seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Doni Barros the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kazimcapetas FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Doni Barros had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kazimcapetas FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Claretiana. Jânio Zonta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Renatinho da Cunha. 1-0. Ismael Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Claretiana's Edinho Antunes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renatinho da Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kazimcapetas FC's Renatinho da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Prata in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Claretiana fully deserved thier win.
