When Wanderson Félix came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the T. L. G. FL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wanderson Félix couldn't finish the play. Ciro Costa got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-0 in the right cross in the 19th match minute before Nestor Abraão had time to react. Mário Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Renato Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. T. L. G. FL's Renato Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Félix in the 30th minute of play. Renato Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Esteves in the 31st minute of play. Corinthians-Ba's Nestor Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wanderson Félix in the 34th minute of play. Wanderson Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Corinthians-Ba's Afonsinho Carvalho got a free kick in the 37th minute. Mário Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. The wind increased when Wanderson Félix made the kick off in the second half. Corinthians-Ba's Mário Félix got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wanderson Félix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciro Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Nestor Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Corinthians-Ba's Gabriel Ferraz got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Álvaro Esteves got free with Renato Camargo in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Álvaro Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Álvaro Esteves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renato Camargo having to make a save. Eurico Hermes's late challenge caught a Corinthians-Ba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eurico Hermes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Corinthians-Ba booed when T. L. G. FL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eurico Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mário Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute of the match Eriberto Duarte sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nestor Abraão skillfully saved the ball. Nestor Abraão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wanderson Félix in the 83rd minute of the match.
