Spectators: 6884 (Terracing: 5384, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Genílson Brodel started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Dx team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseu Freitas to maneuver through the defense. Genílson Brodel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Pamplona F.C.'s zone, Genílson Brodel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genílson Carneiro came out of the goal and Genílson Brodel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Genílson Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Genílson Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genílson Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Medeiros in the 14th minute of the match. Christian Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Genílson Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Medeiros in the 19th minute of the match. Christian Medeiros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Genílson Carneiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Cafu Sanches managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pamplona F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cafu Sanches was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gernando Soares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genílson Brodel in the 40th minute of play forced Pamplona F.C.'s goalkeeper Genílson Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Genílson Brodel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Genílson Carneiro. Pamplona F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Genílson Brodel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erasmo Santana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cafu Sanches charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cafu Sanches the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cafu Sanches hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Dx team's Natanael Arósio tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Genílson Brodel might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genílson Carneiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Genílson Brodel ran back to his position shaking his head. Genílson Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Osvaldinho Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genílson Carneiro having to interfere. Christian Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Genílson Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genílson Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genílson Brodel in the 74th minute of play. Genílson Brodel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genílson Carneiro having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Fernando Freire was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dx team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pamplona F.C. the free kick. After 85 played minutes Dx team got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Freire. Genílson Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genílson Brodel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Pamplona F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dx team's performance. The match ended with a win for Dx team.
