In the 8th minute Dé do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinei Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piassabussu's Eduardo Torrecillas got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dadá Prata made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Yan Pinheiro sent off a good shot on target. If Eduardo Torrecillas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14thth minute of the game Eduardo Torrecillas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Agape FC's Dadá Prata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Catarinense in the 15th minute of play forced Piassabussu's goalkeeper Dinei Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Piassabussu's goal looked a bit too open when Dé do Vale came free, but Dinei Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Eduardo Torrecillas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dinei Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Dadá Prata made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Yan Pinheiro sent off a good shot on target. Dadá Prata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduardo Torrecillas in the 26th minute. Dé do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinei Mazza having to interfere. Yan Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Dadá Prata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piassabussu. 41 minutes into the game, Doni Braga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Agape FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piassabussu the free kick. Erik Moraes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 43rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After having played for 45 minutes, Zé Pedro de Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piassabussu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Pedro de Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dadá Prata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eduardo Torrecillas's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dé do Vale to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Piassabussu's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dé do Vale fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 55 minutes into the game, Renan Camargo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dinei Mazza. Renan Camargo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. In the 59th minute, Eduardo Torrecillas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dadá Prata was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Piassabussu's Dinei Mazza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Piassabussu from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Piassabussu's Erik Moraes got a free kick in the 74th minute. The supporters of Piassabussu booed when Agape FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dé do Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristiano Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Yan Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Agape FC's zone, Eduardo Torrecillas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dadá Prata came out of the goal and Eduardo Torrecillas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dadá Prata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yan Pinheiro in the 92nd minute of the match. Dadá Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Torrecillas in the 95th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Yan Pinheiro notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Agape FC's Dadá Prata. Dadá Prata was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Despite being the better team, Piassabussu failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
