Isaltino Saraiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Willian Soteldo made a huge save. Nilson Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Celso Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Nilson Lopez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JAHU 43's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Licio FC the free kick. In the 25th match minute, JAHU 43 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilson Lopez to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Toninho Branco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Willian Soteldo was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. 38 minutes into the game, JAHU 43's Nilson Lopez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celso Dias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Nilson Lopez was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 41 minutes had been played. Nilson Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Orlando Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Soteldo having to interfere. The throw-in from Pedro Augusto de Toledo in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by JAHU 43's Renan Barral. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Róbson de Salles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in JAHU 43's zone, Luiz Paulo Cavalcante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willian Soteldo came out of the goal and Luiz Paulo Cavalcante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Délio Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Délio Abraão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Licio FC's Celso Dias got control of the ball when Róbson de Salles tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee showed Renan Barral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to JAHU 43 getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wellington Cavalcante got free with Celso Dias in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. JAHU 43's Willian Soteldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Gerber in the 94th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Licio FC could leave the field as winners, despite JAHU 43 having more of the ball for most of the match.
