Pocoes's Juarês Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto de Lara in the 81st minute of play. Jonas Vasconcelos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustavo Medeiros went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Franklin Fonseca's late challenge caught a Pocoes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Franklin Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. When the final whistle sounded Pocoes left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Erveira FC.
