The Viadutos FC fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Viadutos FC's Mané do Valle looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 19 minutes, Adolfo Edmondson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PALESTRA ITÁLIA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Edmondson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. PALESTRA ITÁLIA's Gandalf Fehér proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save PALESTRA ITÁLIA from getting a goal against them. Mané do Valles short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Gandalf Fehér to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Adolfo Edmondson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmir Ortiz having to interfere. In the 28th minute Egídio Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmir Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Egídio Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viadutos FC's Walmir Ortiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Viadutos FC's Robinho Carvalho got a free kick in the 35th minute. Egídio Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Walmir Ortiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Viadutos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Edmondson came free, but Walmir Ortiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmílson Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Gandalf Fehér tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mané do Valle was the one to do the kick off. Oséias Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Daniel Luz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Viadutos FC booed when PALESTRA ITÁLIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Mané do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gandalf Fehér took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmílson Vargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the game, Mané do Valle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Gandalf Fehér was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 67 minutes into the game, Viadutos FC's Mané do Valle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gandalf Fehér made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 71 minutes into the match, Adolfo Edmondson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Walmir Ortiz, 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet as PALESTRA ITÁLIA's Adolfo Edmondson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Walmir Ortiz. That made the score 3-2 after 82 minutes of play. Gandalf Fehér showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Walmir Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Edmondson in the 93rd minute of the match.
