Benjamim Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedê Andrade in the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute of the match, Wilson Fernandez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benjamim Quadros was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A Sombra Marca's Benjamim Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedê Andrade in the 9th minute of play. Alfredo de Queirós charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo de Queirós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alfredo de Queirós hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, A Sombra Marca's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Pinheiro came free, but Benjamim Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hélder Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diguinho Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Gaúcho in the 30th minute of play. A Sombra Marca's Benjamim Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Pinheiro in the 33rd minute of play. If Luciano Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matías Nunes in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diguinho Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Borba booed when A Sombra Marca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matías Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Borba's Percy Freire couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 49th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for A Sombra Marca. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Dedê Andrade made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Dedê Andrade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Benjamim Quadros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59th minute, Alfredo de Queirós ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamim Quadros was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. After 66 minutes of play, Borba's Dedê Andrade made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benjamim Quadros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benjamim Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo de Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Diguinho Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamim Quadros came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Borba's Danilo Pinheiro. But to his dismay, Danilo Pinheiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. When Luciano Gaúcho came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the A Sombra Marca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Gaúcho couldn't finish the play. With 86 minutes on the clock, Maurinho Lima commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for A Sombra Marca! Wilson Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamim Quadros having to interfere. Benjamim Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of A Sombra Marca booed when Borba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Borba were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of A Sombra Marca for a fine match.
