Furacão EFL's Duda Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruy Peixoto in the 19th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ruy Peixoto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duda Quadros was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Claudinho Breckenfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duda Quadros having to interfere. Duda Quadros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Iuri Cearense charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iuri Cearense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Vodka Diamond booed when Furacão EFL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iuri Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcel Berger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Duda Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 49 minutes, Pedrinho da Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Furacão EFL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedrinho da Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Duda Quadros was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Claudinho Breckenfeld showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 55 minute of play. Luizão Novaes's late challenge caught a Furacão EFL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luizão Novaes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th minute, Luizão Novaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vodka Diamond's supporters rose to their feet, but Luizão Novaes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The referee ignored Furacão EFL's protests and gave Oscar do Valle a yellow card for diving instead. Vodka Diamond's Jefferson Linhares was substituted for Marcel Berger. Oscar do Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
