Spectators: 7254 (Terracing: 5442, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Horácio Vander started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, TATETUBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caco Batista to maneuver through the defense. Laércio de Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the match, TATETUBA's Lucas de Medeiros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jano de Barros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Pirajui FC's Jano de Barros got control of the ball when Laércio de Senna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frederico Simão charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frederico Simão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute Horácio Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wellington Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gil Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Horácio Vander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 26 minutes of play, Pirajui FC's Gil Mangueira made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wellington Souto was left in no man's land by his defense there! 37 minutes into the match, Lucas de Medeiros dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jano de Barros, 1-1. After 41 played minutes Pirajui FC got a freekick which was hit by Gil Mangueira. 43 minutes into the match, TATETUBA's goal looked a bit too open when Horácio Vander came free, but Wellington Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in TATETUBA's zone, Gil Mangueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wellington Souto came out of the goal and Gil Mangueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gil Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucas de Medeiros to strike the kick off in the second half. When TATETUBA's Lucas de Medeiros in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pirajui FC's goalie prevented a goal. Wellington Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Vander, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laércio de Senna during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jano de Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laércio de Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jano de Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas de Medeiros in the 61st minute of play. Renatinho Macedo charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renatinho Macedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 played minutes Pirajui FC got a freekick which was hit by Renatinho Macedo. Gil Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Souto having to interfere. In the 68th minute Horácio Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wellington Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pirajui FC's Jano de Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laércio de Senna in the 71st minute of play. After 73 played minutes Pirajui FC got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Barros. Jano de Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laércio de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Lucas de Medeiros put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jano de Barros. If Lucas de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When TATETUBA's Laércio de Senna in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pirajui FC's goalie prevented a goal. TATETUBA were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Pirajui FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcelo Vander took the corner. The corner ended in Marcelo Vander almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pirajui FC's Jano de Barros did a great save. Laércio de Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jano de Barros having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas de Medeiros in the 94th minute of play forced Pirajui FC's goalkeeper Jano de Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Lucas de Medeiros made a precise shot to the right of Jano de Barros. Pirajui FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The TATETUBA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pirajui FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
