Spectators: 7242 (Terracing: 5481, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 80) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lars Nordstedt took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars Nordstedt got free with Dênis Camargo in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ronaldinho Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 10 played minutes MckarttneyFC got a freekick which was hit by Frédson Esteves. 16 minutes into the match, Futideia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frédson Esteves came free, but Alfredinho Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Egídio Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, MckarttneyFC's goal looked a bit too open when José Pedro Maia came free, but Dênis Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dênis Camargo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Falcão in the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, MckarttneyFC's Gugu Leão got a free kick in the 24th minute. When Frédson Esteves came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the MckarttneyFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frédson Esteves couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Futideia FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. José Pedro Maia hit a great ball. If Frédson Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Eduardo Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dênis Camargo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Lars Nordstedt could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Dênis Camargo however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 47 minutes, Frédson Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MckarttneyFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frédson Esteves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronaldinho Severo to make the kick off. The supporters of Futideia FC booed when MckarttneyFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldinho Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the game, Futideia FC's Egídio Linhares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dênis Camargo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 2-0 became the score in the 58th minute when Nildo de Toledo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Dênis Camargo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Falcão in the 62nd minute of the match. When Futideia FC's Eduardo Falcão in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MckarttneyFC's goalie prevented a goal. Dênis Camargo came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Futideia FC's Lúcio França. But to his dismay, Lúcio França quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 69th minute, Gugu Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dênis Camargo came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Futideia FC's Eduardo Falcão. But to his dismay, Eduardo Falcão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Dênis Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Falcão in the 78th minute of play. Alan de Toledo hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Nildo de Toledo struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Dênis Camargo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Futideia FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars Nordstedt in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dênis Camargo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dênis Camargo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MckarttneyFC's Gugu Leão suffered a concussion in the 88th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 89 minutes, Dedê Borges mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Futideia FC and the MckarttneyFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Dedê Borges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, Frédson Esteves notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Futideia FC's Alfredinho Dracena. Alfredinho Dracena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Futideia FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
