The Arapuá FC. fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Arapuá FC.'s Doriva Pombal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doriva Pombal got free with Evandro Moreira in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 15 minutes of play, Arapuá FC.'s Doriva Pombal made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evandro Moreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Murillo Coelho during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arapuá FC. made a substitution. Belchior Queiroz replaced Oscar Mattos. After a rather tough play, Belomeu FC's Murillo Coelho got a free kick in the 19th minute. Doriva Pombal struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Evandro Moreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arapuá FC.. With a little luck, Belomeu FC's Evandro Moreira got control of the ball when Doriva Pombal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arapuá FC.'s Denílson Paranaense managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Christian França in the 25 minute of the game. In the 36th minute, one of Belomeu FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Belomeu FC. Flavinho Catarinense walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 42nd minute, Doriva Pombal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luís Fernando de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manfredo de Souza was the one to do the kick off. Edson Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Evandro Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doriva Pombal in the 57th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Belomeu FC defense, Paulo Renato Prestes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evandro Moreira. The Belomeu FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evandro Moreira should have stopped the shot. When Doriva Pombal came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Arapuá FC. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doriva Pombal couldn't finish the play. Evandro Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fernando de Queirós in the 66th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Arapuá FC.'s Paulo Renato Prestes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evandro Moreira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Evandro Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doriva Pombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Paulo Renato Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evandro Moreira having to interfere. Evandro Moreira came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Arapuá FC.'s Paulo Renato Prestes. But to his dismay, Paulo Renato Prestes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. 85 minutes into the game, Paulo Renato Prestes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Evandro Moreira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paulo Renato Prestes might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evandro Moreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Renato Prestes ran back to his position shaking his head. Doriva Pombal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Doriva Pombal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evandro Moreira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Paulo Renato Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evandro Moreira having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Arapuá FC. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
