Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) PapaXota's Rafael Lara started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kléber Fonseca's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but José Pedro Mangueira firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of PapaXota booed when Paulista FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulista FC's José Pedro Mangueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Lara in the 8th minute of play. Rafael Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Paulista FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Luiz de Queiroz hit a great ball. Kléber Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but José Pedro Mangueira made a huge save. Vânderson Santana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrique Catarinense went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 21stth minute of the game Rafael Lara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paulista FC's José Pedro Mangueira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kléber Fonseca scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Pedro Mangueira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Luiz de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Paulista FC's Igor Severo got a free kick in the 36th minute. PapaXota's Kléber Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Rafael Lara came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the PapaXota fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Lara couldn't finish the play. Rafael Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vânderson Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio da Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horácio da Costa was the one to do the kick off. When César Tande fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paulista FC's protests and gave César Tande a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute of the match Filipe de Barros shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Pedro Mangueira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rafael Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Pedro Mangueira having to interfere. When Rafael Lara, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 61 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The José Pedro Mangueira was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Kléber Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kléber Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. José Pedro Mangueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, PapaXota's goal looked a bit too open when Horácio da Costa came free, but Vânderson Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Lara in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Pedro Mangueira saved Paulista FC from getting behind. Rafael Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. José Pedro Mangueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Lara in the 85th minute of play forced Paulista FC's goalkeeper José Pedro Mangueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After recieving a nice pass, PapaXota's Filipe de Barros tried to score from far away in the 91st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Kléber Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. José Pedro Mangueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. PapaXota's Rafael Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. PapaXota were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
