With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedrinho Pinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Placa's Pedrinho Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Fidensio in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Murillo Rezende reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of José Damião. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 19th match minute, Placa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Augusto de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dadá Paraense to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Luís Fernando Arantes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Damião was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. José Augusto de Toledo hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Dadá Paraense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gonzalo Fidensio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Pedrinho Pinho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jerônimo Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Gonzalo Fidensio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Sport Club Academy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
