Buenoia FC's Geovani Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian de Souza in the 56th minute of play. Geovani Pires didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonzalo Fidensio went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 66th minute, Alessandro Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdo Porto struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Geovani Pires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sport Club Academy. Geovani Pires came out of the goal and Gonzalo Fidensio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geovani Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Fidensio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovani Pires stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilmar Abraão's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzalo Fidensio in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geovani Pires saved Buenoia FC from getting behind. 87 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Fidensio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geovani Pires. Buenoia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonzalo Fidensio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 94th minute, Gilmar Abraão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sport Club Academy's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
