After 3 played minutes Amadeu Brito rounded Madruga fc's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Cleiton Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Renan Prata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cleiton Aguiar might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Renan Prata. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cleiton Aguiar ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 19 minutes, Cleiton Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Madruga fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cleiton Aguiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cleiton Aguiar in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renan Prata saved Tejucopapo from getting behind. 23 minutes into the game, Hílton Favoretto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tejucopapo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Madruga fc the free kick. Gernando Bertassi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Renan Prata. Tejucopapo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Madruga fc's João Paulo Sabóia got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Renan Prata didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Madruga fc's Aírton Vidal shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Erik Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tejucopapo's supporters rose to their feet, but Erik Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronaldão Dracena to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Tejucopapo's zone, João Paulo Sabóia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renan Prata came out of the goal and João Paulo Sabóia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cleiton Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renan Prata having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tejucopapo's Hílton Favoretto got a free kick in the 55th minute. Madruga fc's João Paulo Sabóia got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Madruga fc's Cleiton Aguiar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Renan Prata. That made the score 1-2 after 60 minutes of play. If João Paulo Sabóia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Paulo Sabóia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renan Prata having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Tejucopapo got a freekick which was hit by Erik Andrade. In the 78th minute, Tejucopapo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after João Paulo Sabóia fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Cleiton Aguiar put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Renan Prata. In the 94th minute, Madruga fc's João Paulo Sabóia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Madruga fc had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
