In the 13thth minute of the game Agnaldo Batista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LOS BAIANOS's Conrado Pirani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 14 played minutes Blue Mountain State got a freekick which was hit by Cícero da Mata. The supporters of LOS BAIANOS booed when Blue Mountain State was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeferson Travassos didn't get a good kick on the ball.
