Spectators: 7467 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Leandro Lara started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Valério Cavalcante scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reynaldo Porto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Clóvis dos Santos came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by um dia voltarei's Jairo Pena. But to his dismay, Jairo Pena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 11 minutes into the game, um dia voltarei's Rodolfo de Castro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clóvis dos Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Clóvis dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Pena, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Leonel Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Jairo Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Jairo Pena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clóvis dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo de Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valério Cavalcante got free with Reynaldo Porto in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jairo Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clóvis dos Santos having to interfere. Afonsinho Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Clóvis dos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Rodolfo de Castro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Clóvis dos Santos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jairo Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute Belmiro de Amaral managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jairo Pena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to um dia voltarei getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Felippe Prestes hit a great ball. Frédson Ribeiro struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Reynaldo Porto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Danúbio. After some careless play in the Danúbio defense, Jairo Pena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clóvis dos Santos. The Danúbio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clóvis dos Santos should have stopped the shot. Jairo Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clóvis dos Santos having to interfere. Danúbio's Clóvis dos Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Danúbio from getting a goal against them. If Jairo Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Paulo Pontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jairo Penas short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Clóvis dos Santos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Luizinho Rosado struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Clóvis dos Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for um dia voltarei. When the final whistle sounded um dia voltarei left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Danúbio.
