Luciano Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Felipe Azevedo charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipe Azevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Nazareno EC's Felipe Azevedo got a free kick in the 10th minute. Cristóvão Cunha hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Marco Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Azevedo in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Bebeto Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th match minute, Nazareno EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vânderson Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. Nazareno EC's Breno Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sydney Hoffmann in the 17th minute of play. If Felipe Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SC Inter's zone, Felipe Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Sampaio came out of the goal and Felipe Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute Felipe Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Nazareno EC's goal looked a bit too open when Genílson Marquez came free, but Breno Ceresso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmundo Duarte might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Sampaio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmundo Duarte ran back to his position shaking his head. After 34 played minutes Nazareno EC got a freekick which was hit by Luan de Lima. The crowd rose to their feet as Felipe Azevedo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marco Sampaio. That made the score 1-0 in the 39 minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Nazareno EC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Cunha came free, but Breno Ceresso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Sampaio having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristóvão Cunha to strike the kick off in the second half. Felipe Azevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Sampaio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Inter's zone, Belmiro Pena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Sampaio came out of the goal and Belmiro Pena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Cunha in the 57th minute of play forced Nazareno EC's goalkeeper Breno Ceresso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vânderson Vinhas fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nazareno EC's protests and gave Vânderson Vinhas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th match minute, Nazareno EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vânderson Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. The SC Inter fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when SC Inter's Sydney Hoffmann looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Osvaldo Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmundo Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Sampaio having to interfere. Edmundo Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belmiro Pena in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Felipe Azevedo made a precise shot to the right of Marco Sampaio. SC Inter's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Breno Ceresso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão Cunha in the 80th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luciano Hermes in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Breno Ceresso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Breno Ceresso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão Cunha in the 83rd minute of the match. If Felipe Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edmundo Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Marco Sampaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
