Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felipe Pontes to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Oséias de Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agiota's supporters rose to their feet, but Oséias de Salles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Vianna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Agiota's Oséias de Salles pulled a muscle in his back after 56 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Frederico Pinho's late challenge caught a Agiota's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 59th minute there was a penalty for Agiota. Robinho Velloso stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pedro Vianna. 1-1. Vinícius Baiano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serginho Hermes went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Yara's zone, Luís Gustavo Penha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Vianna came out of the goal and Luís Gustavo Penha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Vianna was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felipe Pontes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 88 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Yara's zone, Noel Miranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Vianna came out of the goal and Noel Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd match minute, Yara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Vianna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Pontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
