In the 20th minute Abelardo Netto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucien Melis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raí Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Agnaldo Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Lucien Melis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nelsinho Rosado was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 31 minutes into the match. In the 47th match minute, OFF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agnaldo Toledo to maneuver through the defense. After the first half GRADIM F.C were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gino Marques stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Gino Marques left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GRADIM F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Vinhas in the 60th minute of play forced GRADIM F.C's goalkeeper Lucien Melis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raí Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Gino Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot. GRADIM F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Gino Marques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gugu Pena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the match, OFF's goalkeeper Gugu Pena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bebeto Arruda. In the 71stth minute of the game Abelardo Netto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GRADIM F.C's Lucien Melis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Murilo Vinhas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Lucien Melis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bebeto Arruda during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bebeto Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Gugu Pena made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Matías Rodrigues sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Ronaldinho Gonçalves took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Gugu Pena to make any attempt to save it.
