Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Hudson Valle made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hudson Valle in the 5th minute of play forced Saguoes's goalkeeper Dinei Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrianinho Aguiar had several of the Japira SS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 16 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Tostão Figueiredo as he didn't even see the shot coming. The crowd rose to their feet as Saguoes's Armindo da Costa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tostão Figueiredo. That made the score 2-0 after 19 minutes of play. 22 minutes into the match, Japira SS's goalkeeper Tostão Figueiredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrianinho Aguiar. After a rather tough play, Saguoes's Adrianinho Aguiar got a free kick in the 24th minute. Armindo da Costa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tostão Figueiredo came out and tried to block the shot, but Armindo da Costa slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 27th minute. When Eurico Batista came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Saguoes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eurico Batista couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the match, Armindo da Costa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tostão Figueiredo, 4-0.
The wind increased when Armindo da Costa made the kick off in the second half. Hudson Valle made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 51stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Dinei Arruda would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Hudson Valle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Dinei Arruda made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, José Vítor Nóbrega took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Dinei Arruda to make any attempt to save it. Umberto Arósio's late challenge caught a Japira SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Umberto Arósio helped the player get up and apologised. Umberto Arósio kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Armindo da Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute Eurico Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tostão Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hudson Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute Amadeu Velloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinei Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Armindo da Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hudson Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinei Arruda having to interfere. Dinei Arruda made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Hudson Valle sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute of the match José Vítor Nóbrega sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dinei Arruda skillfully saved the ball. In the 77th minute of the match Japira SS got a corner. Saguoes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. José Vítor Nóbrega ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Japira SS's corner José Vítor Nóbrega fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dinei Arruda quite easily take care of the ball. When Japira SS's Matías Figueiredo, in the 78th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Japira SS. Dinei Arruda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hudson Valle in the 80th minute. Hudson Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Dinei Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Saguoes's Dinei Arruda got control of the ball when Hudson Valle tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Saguoes booed when Japira SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeu Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, Eurico Batista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tostão Figueiredo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hudson Valle during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Japira SS getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Hudson Valle hit a great ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Saguoes were victorious despite being under pressure from Japira SS for much of the match.
