With an all-out effort, Sallesopolis AD's Rafael Geromel threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joélson Mandrak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Celso Penha charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celso Penha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sallesopolis AD booed when Alma Castelhana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alma Castelhana FC's Rafael Geromel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joélson Mandrak in the 7th minute of play. If Téo Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Leal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enio Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alma Castelhana FC were furious when Vinícius de Toledo was red carded, 29 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 28 minutes into the game, one of Alma Castelhana FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 31 minutes, Sallesopolis AD's Téo Pombal got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rafael Geromel. Patrick Negri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joélson Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Geromel having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Ulisses Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alma Castelhana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulisses Ferreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Leal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the match, Sallesopolis AD's goal looked a bit too open when Ulisses Ferreira came free, but Hugo Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joélson Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joélson Mandrak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Téo Pombal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Rafael Geromel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joélson Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Rafael Geromel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Patrick Negri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafael Geromel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joélson Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Téo Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Joélson Mandrak came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Sallesopolis AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joélson Mandrak couldn't finish the play. Joélson Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Geromel having to interfere. Joélson Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Téo Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Rafael Geromel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Geromel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joélson Mandrak went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Sallesopolis AD's Téo Pombal got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Sallesopolis AD booed when Alma Castelhana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Geromel came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Sallesopolis AD's Joélson Mandrak. But to his dismay, Joélson Mandrak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Rafael Geromel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joélson Mandrak in the 92nd minute of play. Joélson Mandrak scored 6-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafael Geromel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Sallesopolis AD were the better team. Sallesopolis AD's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
