In the 7th minute Vicente Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilton Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Monreal FC's Nilton Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrão Duarte in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Moraes in the 13th minute of play forced Monreal FC's goalkeeper Nilton Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute of the game, Júnior Camargo landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 15 minutes into the game, Olavo Mendes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monreal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villalobos FC the free kick. In the 17th match minute, Monreal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olavo Mendes to maneuver through the defense. Nilton Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrão Duarte in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Monreal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão Duarte came free, but Nilton Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danilo Moraes took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilton Koehler. Nilton Koehler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 35th minute, Danilo Moraes made a precise shot to the right of Nilton Koehler. Monreal FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrão Duarte in the 39th minute of play forced Monreal FC's goalkeeper Nilton Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilton Koehler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Danilo Moraes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilton Koehler. Monreal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danilo Moraes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Vicente Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nilton Koehler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vicente Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. The Monreal FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Villalobos FC were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edu Cordeiro to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Monreal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Moraes came free, but Nilton Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilton Koehler having to interfere. Monreal FC's Nilton Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Moraes in the 62nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedrão Duarte kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nilton Koehler. That made the score 0-6 in the 63 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Pedrão Duarte took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Nilton Koehler to make any attempt to save it. In the 75th minute, Danilo Moraes made a precise shot to the right of Nilton Koehler. Monreal FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. 81 minutes into the match, Monreal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão Duarte came free, but Nilton Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nilton Koehler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrão Duarte in the 84th minute of the match. Nilton Koehler was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Danilo Moraes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 87 minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Deivid França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nilton Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrão Duarte in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Villalobos FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Monreal FC.
