After 5 played minutes ShiroDog got a freekick which was hit by Raúl Furtado. Armando Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Elodio having to interfere. João Adolfo Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the game, Maurinho Moreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ERINIA MZC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ShiroDog the free kick. Maurinho Moreira hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in ERINIA MZC's zone, Ivo Mazza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur de Castro came out of the goal and Ivo Mazza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, ShiroDog's Ivo Mazza got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, João Adolfo Dantas made a precise shot to the right of Anselmo Elodio. ShiroDog's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Giuseppe Diniz scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arthur de Castro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of ShiroDog booed when ERINIA MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Adolfo Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivo Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arthur de Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Diniz in the 41st minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, ERINIA MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Giuseppe Diniz came free, but Arthur de Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Válbson Tasso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ivo Mazza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arthur de Castro having to make a save. In the 52nd minute Ivo Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur de Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Elodio was a little too slow when Válbson Tasso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 2-2. Ivo Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur de Castro having to interfere. João Adolfo Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 66 minutes, Válbson Tasso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ERINIA MZC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Válbson Tasso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by João Adolfo Dantas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 74th minute, Ivo Mazza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arthur de Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giuseppe Diniz in the 76th minute of the match. Arthur de Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Diniz in the 78th minute of play. ERINIA MZC's Arthur de Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivo Mazza in the 79th minute of play. Herminio Admon kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. When Ivo Mazza came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the ShiroDog fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivo Mazza couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Mazza in the 86th minute of play forced ERINIA MZC's goalkeeper Arthur de Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ShiroDog were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
