Spectators: 7454 (Terracing: 5591, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alan de Souza took the kick off in the first half of the match. Joel dos Santos came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Microsoft Team's Narciso Cardoso. But to his dismay, Narciso Cardoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alan de Souza in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel dos Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 10 played minutes Microsoft Team got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Tróia. After a rather tough play, Microsoft Team's Luiz Fernando Ferraz got a free kick in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Alan de Souza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joel dos Santos. Joanesia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alan de Souza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Dário Dracena kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Microsoft Team's goalkeeper Décio Barbosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dadá Paraíba. Décio Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durval Saraiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Alan de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 32 minutes, Durval Saraiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joanesia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Durval Saraiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Narciso Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel dos Santos having to interfere. Durval Saraiva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Décio Barbosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. When Dedê Cosme fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Microsoft Team's protests and gave Dedê Cosme a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Microsoft Team's Dedê Cosme got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 45 played minutes, Microsoft Team's Luiz Fernando Ferraz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joel dos Santos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Microsoft Team reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Cardoso in the 46th minute of play forced Joanesia's goalkeeper Joel dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute, Luiz Fernando Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Microsoft Team were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Durval Saraiva to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Alan de Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joel dos Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After a rather tough play, Joanesia's Jorginho Mazza got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 67 minutes into the match, Joanesia's goalkeeper Joel dos Santos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alan de Souza. Joel dos Santos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alan de Souza in the 71st minute. If Narciso Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 81st minute of the match Ernesto Bertassi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joel dos Santos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Alan de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Microsoft Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Alan de Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel dos Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dadá Paraíba's late challenge caught a Microsoft Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dadá Paraíba helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, Microsoft Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Matos to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Joanesia's Jorginho Mazza tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Narciso Cardoso's late challenge caught a Joanesia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narciso Cardoso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 97th match minute, Microsoft Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egídio Proença to maneuver through the defense.
