After 27 minutes of play, Independente Brasil's Tostão Montenegro made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Murillo Simões was left in no man's land by his defense there! Guto do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Independente Brasil's Ramiro do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Paiva in the 33rd minute of play. Cesinha Jacinto hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonas Paiva to strike the kick off in the second half. Ramiro do Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Albuquerque in the 52nd minute of the match. Tostão Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Tostão Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Murillo Simões having to make a save. 67 minutes into the match, Independente Brasil's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Paiva came free, but Ramiro do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Luís Albuquerque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Laerte Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nildo Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute.
