Maicon Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dorian Gerber lost his temper 11 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of Cianorte FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Só Canela FC:s goal. In the 13th minute there was a penalty for Só Canela FC. Geovânio Melo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lei Bin Xing. 0-1. Romário Aguiar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lei Bin Xing having to make a save. If Maicon Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 21st minute, Jacinto Goiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jacinto Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Só Canela FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Renato Gaúcho hit a great ball. Pedrinho Valadares was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Jacinto Goiano came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Cianorte FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Goiano couldn't finish the play. After 35 played minutes Cianorte FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeferson Cabral. Maicon Mendonça scored 0-3 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lei Bin Xing, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Afonso de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeferson Cabral in the 40th minute of play. When Jacinto Goiano came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Cianorte FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Goiano couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Cianorte FC's zone, Mané Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lei Bin Xing came out of the goal and Mané Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maicon Mendonça stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Renato Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lei Bin Xing made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Romário Aguiar sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Só Canela FC's zone, Jacinto Goiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso de Queirós came out of the goal and Jacinto Goiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maicon Mendonça in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lei Bin Xing prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Cianorte FC's zone, Maicon Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lei Bin Xing came out of the goal and Maicon Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Só Canela FC fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Só Canela FC's Maicon Mendonça looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 70th minute, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Khvicha Kvaratskhelia came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Só Canela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Khvicha Kvaratskhelia couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, Maicon Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 89 minutes, Maicon Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Só Canela FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maicon Mendonça was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Só Canela FC booed when Cianorte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeferson Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Cianorte FC's Lei Bin Xing got control of the ball when Maicon Mendonça tried to sneak it across the goal line.
