Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Davi Dal Bello kicked off to start the match. Panait Balaeț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davi Dal Bello in the 7th minute of play. Panait Balaeț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davi Dal Bello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th match minute, S. C. NAVEGANTES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fábio Meira to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Biruleibe FC's Tales Catarinense got a free kick in the 15th minute. Narciso da Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Biruleibe FC defense, Kryspin Kilarski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Panait Balaeț. The Biruleibe FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Panait Balaeț should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tales Catarinense in the 27th minute of play forced S. C. NAVEGANTES's goalkeeper Bruninho Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Tales Catarinense kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bruninho Lucas. That made the score 2-1 in the 28 minute of play. S. C. NAVEGANTES's Bruninho Lucas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save S. C. NAVEGANTES from getting a goal against them. Bruninho Lucas was a little too slow when Tales Catarinense got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tales Catarinense to make the kick off. Bruninho Lucas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tales Catarinense's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tales Catarinense in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruninho Lucas saved S. C. NAVEGANTES from getting behind. After 71 minutes of play, Biruleibe FC's Tales Catarinense made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruninho Lucas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bruninho Lucas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from D.J. Sá in the 74th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Tales Catarinense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Biruleibe FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S. C. NAVEGANTES the free kick. Tales Catarinense kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. S. C. NAVEGANTES's Bruninho Lucas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tales Catarinense in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute, D.J. Sá got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th minute, Percival do Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If D.J. Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tales Catarinense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruninho Lucas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute Biruleibe FC were awarded a corner. Horácio de Sena went to the cornerflag to take it. Biruleibe FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
