The audience was convinced that Luciano Loyola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juninho Tróia was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After 14 minutes of play, Tilápia fc's Anísio Pena made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juninho Tróia was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Ibuaco's Falcão de Toledo got a free kick in the 19th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Bittencourt during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Tilápia fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. Tilápia fc's Dedê Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Fernando Motta in the 22nd minute of play. The Tilápia fc fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Tilápia fc's Cícero Madureira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Raphael Negri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedê Toscano having to interfere. Luciano Loyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luciano Loyola blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juninho Tróia having to make a save. When the final whistle sounded Tilápia fc left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ibuaco.
