The supporters of Real Madruga booed when Lamina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandrinho Catarinense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel da Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cafu Koehler in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kauan Costa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Otávio Galvão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Róbson Castro made a huge save. Róbson Castro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Otávio Galvão in the 28th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geraldo Corrêa to strike the kick off in the second half. Sandrinho Catarinense was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 54 minutes into the match. Róbson Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kauan Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Madruga. In the 97th minute, Dedé Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Real Madruga players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
