Moisés Correia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sydney Amaral in the 14th minute. Silvinho Macedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Axinim's Moisés Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Toscano in the 19th minute of play. The corner led Axinim's Durvalino Cabral to fire away a dangerous shot which Clemente Saldanha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Valdir Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. A hard shot 31 in the game by Armando Toscano from a close distance when the talented Moisés Correia managed to make a qualified save. Axinim's players were relieved. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the final whistle went the supporters of Axinim were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Campo Mourão Futebol Club side.
